GOTRON’s Taxi Rate service is like a taxi service and is open to paying customers looking for door-to-door transportation in our service areas. The main difference between our Taxi Rate rides and taxi service is that passengers must book through our call center, QR code, website or Apps and rides cannot be hailed from the street.

GOTRON’s taxicab ride rates are based on the estimated time the passenger is traveling in the vehicle and the variable booking fee based on the trip zone (outlined below). Sharing rides is highly encouraged when possible.

The Dallas Central Business District is the Area bounded by Woodall Rogers Freeway on the North, Central Express on the East R.L Thornton Freeway on the South and Stemmons Freeway on the West and All points located within 1000 feet of the Dallas Central Business District boundaries.
